Delhi has one of the most iconic running backdrops in the country. The stretch around India Gate, Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, the Rajpath lawns, the wide open roads at dawn before the city wakes up. LaceUp Delhi NCR was built for exactly this.
On 7 February 2027, runners assemble at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium for a chip-timed run across three categories: 3K, 5K and 10K. The 3K is the right starting point if you have never raced before. The 5K is where most runners find their rhythm. The 10K is for those who want to push. All three share the same course, the same morning, and the same finish line.
LaceUp Delhi NCR is a run first. A community of people who wake up early, lace up, and show up. But it carries a cause. Juneli Events has partnered with Say Earth NGO, founded by Ramveer Tanwar, the Pondman of India, to put a portion of the proceeds toward planting a permanent native urban forest on government land using the Miyawaki method.
You train for the run. You finish the run. And somewhere, a forest grows because you did.
LaceUp Delhi NCR is a proper race. Chip-timed, well-organised, on one of the most recognisable stretches in the country. But every kilometre you cover also counts toward something that stays long after race day. Say Earth NGO will plant a permanent native urban forest on government-allocated land using the Miyawaki method of dense afforestation. The run produces a result on the course and off it.
Tree plantation and environmental sustainability qualify under MCA Schedule VII, Item (iv). Donations to Say Earth are 80G deduction eligible; 10BE certificates are issued to all qualifying contributors.
